India, July 28 -- Shares of ASML Holding N.V. (ASML) fell after reports that a Chinese state-backed company has begun manufacturing immersion deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithography machines, raising concerns over potential competition in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

The stock is currently trading at $1,567.56, down $87.70 or 5.30%, on the Nasdaq. It opened at $1,579.39 after closing the previous session at $1,655.26. The stock has traded between $683.48 and $1,999.96 over the past 52 weeks.
