India, Sept. 25 -- Asahi Co Ltd (3333.T) reported a profit for first half that Dropped, from the same period last year

The company's earnings came in at JPY2.193 billion, or JPY84.22 per share. This compares with JPY2.630 billion, or JPY101.01 per share, last year.

The company's revenue for the period rose 0.7% to JPY46.230 billion from JPY45.900 billion last year.
