India, Sept. 23 -- Artelo Biosciences, Inc. (ARTL) announced the filing of a provisional patent application covering the use of ART27.13 for the treatment of obesity, both as a standalone therapy and in combination with GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide, following recent nonclinical study findings.
Obesity is a chronic condition associated with increased risks of diabetes, heart disease and other health complications. GLP-1 medicines such as semaglutide have become widely used treatments for weight management in recent years.
