India, Aug. 10 -- Artelo Biosciences Inc. (ARTL), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company, on Monday announced the enrollment of the first patient in the Phase 2 DREAM trial for ART27.13 in treating glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Glaucoma affects about 80 million people worldwide and often leads to irreversible vision loss, yet the severity of the disease can be managed by reducing intralocular pressure (IOP) in the eye. Current IOP treatments include topical eye drops that have certain limitations, including with adherence, local tolerability, and long-term efficacy.
