India, Sept. 24 -- Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US (APUS), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing Apitox, an intradermally administered bee venom-based therapy, is trading sharply higher, with shares surging more than 130%, as investors focus on the company's clinical pipeline and upcoming development milestones.
Apimeds is developing Apitox as a potential treatment for pain and inflammation associated with knee osteoarthritis in patients who have not responded adequately to conservative non-pharmacologic therapy and simple analgesics.
Apitox has been used in South Korea to reduce pain associated with osteoarthritis since 2003.
