India, Aug. 24 -- AN2 Therapeutics, Inc. (ANTX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel small molecule therapies, on Monday announced the appointment of Cameron Trenor, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer, bringing more than 20 years of clinical and drug development experience.

Trenor most recently served as Chief Medical Officer of Cellarity, where he led the company's medical organization, first IND submission and global first-in-human study.

He previously held leadership roles at Forma Therapeutics and Novartis and remains a practicing pediatric hematologist-oncologist.

The appointment comes as AN2 advances its pipeline across hematologic diseases, infectious diseases and oncology.
