India, Aug. 21 -- Amplitude Therapeutics and Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) recently entered into a strategic research collaboration and licensing agreement to discover and develop trans-amplifying RNA (taRNA) vaccine candidates for infectious diseases.
The collaboration will initially focus on undisclosed infectious disease vaccine programs with high unmet medical needs.
Lilly will also retain options to add up to two additional infectious disease targets.
Amplitude will lead taRNA optimization and selected preclinical research activities, while Lilly will be responsible for additional preclinical and clinical development, manufacturing, regulatory activities and commercialization.
