India, Aug. 18 -- Amer Sports, Inc. (AS), a global sporting goods company that owns brands including Arc'teryx, Salomon and Wilson, on Tuesday reported a sharp increase in second-quarter profit, driven by strong revenue growth across all three business segments. The company also raised its full-year Outlook.

Net income attributable to equity holders surged to $107.2 million, or $0.18 per share, from $18.2 million, or $0.03 per share, a year ago. Net income included a $50.1 million benefit from tariff refunds.

Excluding one-off items, adjusted net income attributable to equity holders increased 252% to $127 million, or $0.22 per share.
