India, May 29 -- Altimmune Inc. (ALT), a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, on Friday released new 48-week data from the Phase 2b IMPACT trial for Pemvidutide in treating metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Results were presented at the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) congress, 2026.

Pemvidutide is an investigational peptide that acts as a glucagon/GLP-1 dual agonist to reduce liver fat, fibrosis, and inflammation.
