India, Nov. 5 -- Acorn Energy, Inc. (ACFN) on Thursday reported a sharp rise in third-quarter earnings driven by higher revenue from the year-ago period.
Quarterly net income attributable to Acorn Energy rose to $0.94 million or $0.37 per share from $0.25 million or $0.10 per share a year earlier.
Total revenue for the quarter increased to $2.59 million from $2.48 million in the year-ago quarter.
On the Nasdaq, shares of Acorn were losing 9.40% at $14.47.
