India, Jan. 9 -- Rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is reportedly developing a new true-crime series for A&E.

According to Deadline, the project, titled "Gang Wars," will see 50 Cent's G-Unit Film & Television partnering with Jonah Bekhor and Jonas Bell Pasht of Citizen Jones.

The rapper-producer confirmed the news in an Instagram post, saying, "Gang Wars coming soon A&E I got some heat."

Jackson also shared a screenshot of an article by Parade, which cites the report by Deadline on the upcoming project.

Deadline describes the series as an "unfiltered" look into "America's most infamous gang rivalries with unprecedented access and never-before-heard accounts." A release date for the series has yet to be revealed.
