India, Sept. 7 -- BET is bringing back the "Soul Train Awards" after a two-year hiatus, with the revived awards show set to air Friday, November 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The 2026 ceremony will also air on CBS, VH1, MTV2, Logo and BET Her, marking the first time CBS will broadcast the event. The show will be taped in Chicago, the city where Don Cornelius launched the iconic "Soul Train" music and dance series in 1971.
BET President Louis Carr said bringing the awards back to Chicago honors the show's origins while connecting artists who helped shape R&B and soul with the next generation.
