India, July 19 -- David Bowie The Shel Talmy Recordings, a definitive collection of David Bowie's earliest recordings with producer Shel Talmy, will be released on September 18 via Parlophone.
As a first preview, the previously unheard "I Want Your Love" has been released.
The Shel Talmy Recordings feature 22 tracks recorded in 1965, including 10 previously unreleased recordings on CD and digital formats and six previously unheard tracks on the vinyl edition.
The collection captures Bowie, then performing as Davie Jones, working with legendary producer Shel Talmy. The recordings also feature contributions from guitarist Jimmy Page and keyboardist Nicky Hopkins.
