France, April 8 -- The 26-year-old, a key member of the team that swept to the 2025 Champions League trophy, refused to underestimate Arne Slot's side who were battered 4-0 on Saturday at Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

"Everyone knows football well enough to know that in this sort of game there is no favourite," said the Portugal international on the eve of the first leg of the tie at the Parc des Princes in Paris

"It's Liverpool, a great team with great players, anything can happen," he added. "There are two big games to play, at the Parc des Princes and at Anfield.

"We know we'll be at 100 percent and one thing is certain: we'll play to win the game, because that's what we want to do every time."
