Bellingham upstages Kane and Haaland to fire England into World Cup semi-finals
France, July 12 -- Both teams started the quarter-final brightly at the Miami Stadium but it was England who dominated possession without creating clear chances.
And for all the pre-match talk about star strikers Harry Kane and Erling Haaland, it was one of Norway's unsung heroes who opened the scoring.
Patrick Berg tackled Kane and while England appealed for a foul on their skipper, the ball was moved on to Andreas Schjelderup who advanced down the left and unleashed a shot that swerved over the England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford into the top right hand corner of his goal.
