Siraha, July 28 -- A man who allegedly killed his elder brother in the course of a family dispute has been arrested while trying to flee to India, police said.

According to Siraha District Police, 25-year-old Shyam Kumar Sada of Golbazar Municipality-10, Musaharnia, fatally attacked his 35-year-old brother Motiram Sada with a sharp weapon last Thursday evening.

Police said Shyam, who had returned home intoxicated, began assaulting his wife, Kaushila Sada. When his brother tried to intervene, Shyam stabbed him in the chest. Although neighbors rushed Motiram to Provincial Hospital in Lahan, he died during treatment.
