Nepal, July 21 -- Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said the party must restore its lost moral authority and public identity, arguing that it spent the past decade prioritizing power over principles.

Speaking at the launch of Buddha, BP and Today's Leaders and the Little Men of Lilliput, a book written by Nepali Congress General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire, Thapa said discussions about past political events and leaders are natural, but the more pressing challenge is rebuilding the party's credibility in society.
