Using students as shields and climbing to power over dead bodies is politicalization: Gyanendra Shahi
Nepal, July 14 -- Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Gyanendra Shahi on Tuesday accused Home Minister Sudan Gurung of exploiting the Gen Z movement and students for political gains, alleging that he reached power through such activities.
Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives, Shahi said asking the government to rescue people stranded on cliffs was not politicalization.
"When we ask why people were forced to die because they could not be rescued on time from the cliffs of Karnali, and why helicopters were not sent promptly, the home minister calls it politicalization," Shahi said.
