Nepal, Sept. 4 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Shri Ram Neupane said two of the people trapped inside the tunnel of the Trishuli 3A Hydropower Project has been rescued alive.

According to Neupane, Sanjay Sah and Kabir Maharjan were rescued alive from inside the tunnel. He said information has been received that other people are also trapped inside.

Earlier, the rescue team had heard human voices and had talked with the trapped ones, Neupane said.

The search and rescue operation for the remaining people trapped inside the tunnel is continuing. The Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and technical teams have been deployed for the rescue operation.
