Nepal, March 22 -- The Butwal-Narayanghat road section, which remained blocked for traffic since Friday, is yet to come under full operation.

Transport services have been affected after the road became slippery and muddy in the Daunne section located in Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality-2 of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) along the East-West Highway, said Yubaraj Khadka, Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Nawalparasi.

Vehicles going from east to west have not been able to operate due to slippery uphill roads, while vehicles going from west to east are operating to some extent, he said.
