Nepal, June 23 -- The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case at the Special Court against three individuals, including Shankar Prasad Subedi, Accounts Officer at Province Hospital, Surkhet, for embezzling over Rs 2.5 million.

According to the CIAA, the accused individuals misappropriated revenue collected from patients by failing to deposit the amount into the bank. On Monday, a charge sheet was registered alleging irregularities in hospital revenue handling.
