Nepal, Nov. 5 -- Nepali Congress (NC) Joint General Secretary Ajay Babu Shiwakoti has said the party will not be shaken by the government's fear tactics and warned it against trying to challenge the NC.

Shiwakoti made the remarks on Thursday after appearing before the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police, which had summoned him. He said the party would strongly resist the government's actions.

Shiwakoti, who was on a religious trip outside Kathmandu, had received a phone call from the Cyber Bureau asking him to appear. After returning to Kathmandu, he appeared before the bureau and accused the government of trying to run the country by intimidating its critics.
