Nepal, Aug. 6 -- Continuous rainfall has triggered floods and landslides across the country, leading to the complete obstruction of seven major highways and partial operation of thirteen others.
According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, the affected highways include the Koshi Highway in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality of Sankhuwasabha and the Pasang Lhamu Highway located in Gosainkunda Rural Municipality of Rasuwa. The bridge connecting Nepal and China in Gosainkunda Rural Municipality of Rasuwa has also been affected by the natural calamities.
