Nepal, Aug. 24 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) General Secretary and lawmaker Bipin Acharya has objected to the Home Ministry filming the parents of Garima Chaudhary as they reportedly expressed gratitude to officials and the subsequent circulation of the footage.

Speaking in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday, Acharya questioned the lack of sensitivity shown by the state and society toward victims' families and suspects. He said videos featuring members of the deceased's family as well as the accused had been made public on social media and urged authorities to put an end to such practices.
