Nepal, June 23 -- The closed session of the first general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is set to begin today, a day after it was postponed due to technical reasons linked to the verification and printing of identity cards for representatives.

Distribution of identity cards is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am on Tuesday, after which the closed session will formally get underway, party Spokesperson Manish Jha said.

The session was earlier scheduled for Monday at 8:30 am but was delayed after the verification of provincial lists of representatives and printing of identity cards could not be completed on time.
