Nepal, July 25 -- The Parliamentary Party (PP) of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has condemned the alleged mistreatment of House of Representatives (HoR) member Ganesh Paudel, expressing serious concern over an incident in which he was smeared with black soot.

Paudel, who represents Rautahat-4 in the House of Representatives, was allegedly attacked on July 23 while returning from a public meeting.

In a statement issued on Friday, RSP Chief Whip Kabindra Burlakoti denounced the incident, calling it an unacceptable act that undermines democratic norms.
