Nepal, June 2 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane is currently in India on a five-day official visit at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

As part of his visit, Chairman Lamichhane is scheduled to hold high-level political meetings today, including talks with BJP President Nitin Nabin.

The bilateral meeting, scheduled to take place at the BJP's central office in New Delhi, is expected to focus on democratic forces in both countries, political cooperation, and the strengthening of bilateral relations, according to RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha.

Lamichhane departed for India on Monday. During his stay, he will interact with members of the Nepali community in India as well as party well-wishers.
