Nepal, July 19 -- Highways across the country have been affected by floods and landslides triggered by continuous rain. Some road sections are completely blocked, while in others, vehicular traffic is disallowed at night.

According to the Nepal Police, due to the potential risk of flooding, all types of vehicles are banned from operating on the Khurkot-Nepalthok-Katunjebesi road section of the BP Highway connecting Kavrepalanchok and Sindhuli every day from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am until further notice. However, the road section will be open from 4:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Similarly, all types of vehicles are prohibited from operating on Kanti Highway from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am until further notice.
