Nepal, July 28 -- Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has said the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) should ensure quality regulation for the sustainable development of the capital market.

SEBON leadership can work by maintaining high morale and transparency that keeps investors' interest in the centre, Finance Minister Dr Wagle said, adding that the appointment of new leadership at SEBON has created a positive impact in the capital market.

According to the Minister, SEBON has an equally important role as that of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). He urged SEBON to take on board all stakeholders while formulating related laws and regulations.
