Kathmandu, Aug. 8 -- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed sorrow over the massive loss of lives and property caused by the flood in the Khiro Ganga River in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, India.
In a social media post on Friday, Oli said he was deeply concerned by reports that over 17 Nepali citizens are missing in the disaster. He informed that diplomatic talks were initiated immediately through the Nepali Embassy for their rescue.
Offering condolences to those who lost their lives in the flood and landslide, PM Oli wished strength to the bereaved families to endure the tragedy.
