Nepal, July 26 -- Patan Hospital located in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-5 is all set to be upgraded to 1,200 beds, double of the capacity at present.
This hospital, which is being operated under the Patan Institute of Health Sciences (PIHS), will be expanded and converted into a specialist hospital with state-of-the-art services and infrastructure. The construction cost for the expanded hospital is estimated at Rs 10.73 billion. The project is expected to be completed in three years.
The proposed expansion of the hospital will have a total of 10 floors, including two basements and a ground floor.
