Nepal, Aug. 26 -- The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has announced Rs 50 million in immediate assistance for the rescue, relief and healthcare of people affected by Wednesday's devastating Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa.

The decision was made at a virtual meeting chaired by NRNA President Dr Hemraj Sharma. The association said the funds will support relief supplies, medical services and rehabilitation in the affected areas.

NRNA has also decided to mobilize a medical team to provide primary treatment, health checkups and medicines to those affected by the disaster.
