Nepal, Sept. 16 -- Officials of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) held talks with Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel regarding the recent Gen-Z protests, the evolving security situation, and the condition of individuals currently under the protection of the Nepal Army.

According to NHRC Spokesperson Dr Tikaram Pokharel, the NHRC advised the army to act strictly within the framework of democracy, human rights and the rule of law while ensuring peace and security.
