Nepal, April 9 -- The share market on Thursday climbed for the second consecutive day, with the NEPSE index gaining 48.71 points to reach 2,851.24.

All sub-sectors contributed to the market rise, with the "Other" sub-sector showing the highest increase of 3.43 percent. A total of 251 companies saw their share prices rise.

Eight companies hit positive circuit breakers, including Aatma Nirbhar Laghubitta, Reliance Spinning Mills, Bhujung Hydropower, Ridge Line Energy, Solu Hydropower, Hotel Forest Inn, Super Khudi Hydropower, and Suryakunda Hydropower.
