NEPSE gains 14 points while daily turnover halves at Rs 4.17 billion
Nepal, July 15 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) inclined 14 points (0.54 percent), the second-day rise in a row, to close at 2,590.29 points.
The market opened at 2,576.29 points, initially escalating by 24 points in the first 13 minutes. The market hit the day's high at 2,601.94 points in the first one and a half hours. The market shed around 11 points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.
The daily turnover amount declined to Rs 4.17 billion, almost half of the trading volume of the previous day. A total of 196 companies increased in value while those of 59 decreased and 19 remained stable.
