Nepal, Aug. 20 -- Nepal Telecom has urged its subscribers to remain vigilant against recent fraudulent attempts targeting mobile users through various fake alert IDs.
In recent days, Nepal Telecom customers have received messages stating: "Dear valued customer, your Connect IPS account has been locked. Please verify...". These messages are designed to lure users into opening different URL links, after which they are prompted to enter their Connect IPS username and password, allowing fraudsters to steal their information, Nepal Telecom informed.
