Nepal, April 11 -- The Nepal-India University Professors Conference began in the capital on Friday, bringing together academics, researchers, and intellectuals from universities in Nepal and India for a three-day dialogue on language, literature, and academic collaboration.

Literary critic Prof. Basudev Tripathi inaugurated the conference. During the inaugural session, a book titled *"The Role of Nepalese and Indian Universities in the Development of Nepali Language and Literature"*, edited by Narendra Raj Prasai and Indira Prasai and published by Naiee Academy, was launched.
