Nepal, Oct. 27 -- The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has urged the public to take caution while using electrical appliances with possible power outage or damage to electrical infrastructure during the adverse weather condition for three days starting Thursday.

Issuing a notice on Tuesday, the state-owned power utility has mentioned that moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in various parts of the country during the second half of this week. In light of the situation, the authority has advised the public to assess risks during adverse weather, stay in safe locations, avoid unnecessary travel, and use electrical appliances with caution.
