Nepal, Oct. 8 -- The Nepali Congress (NC) Sudurpaschim Province Parliamentary Party has formally objected to the provincial government's failure to present its budget even 55 days after its formation.

Parliamentary Party leader and former Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah issued a statement, describing the failure to present the provincial budget more than 55 days after the government's formation as a serious and concerning matter.

The NC Parliamentary Party had earlier asked the government to present the budget by October 1, but the deadline has passed without the budget being presented.
