Nepal, April 15 -- The Nepali Congress (NC) has commenced its month-long 'root campaign' to update its active membership on Tuesday.

NC President Gagan Kumar Thapa opened the campaign by updating his membership in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30.

He asked those interested to cooperate and urged those unable to participate to refrain from non-cooperation in the party's campaign.

"As a party President, I come up with a thought. It has to be undertaken. Those interested will help this campaign move. Those unable, please do not create an uneasy situation," he noted.
