MP Yadav questions minister's accountability over threats to break contractor's legs
Nepal, June 16 -- Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Rekha Kumari Yadav has questioned whether government ministers are bound by the law, accusing them of making what she termed threatening and "anarchic" statements in recent days.
Speaking in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Tuesday, she said such remarks from ministers were undermining Parliament and weakening the rule of law. MP Yadav also objected to what she described as threats made to lawmakers from the rostrum by Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.
