Nepal, July 30 -- Madhesh Province's Minister for Home, Communications and Law, Fakira Mahato, has expressed serious concern over the recent incidents of communal tension, violence and unrest reported from various parts of the province, urging all communities to maintain peace, restraint and social harmony.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Mahato appealed to the public not to give any incident a religious or communal dimension, spread rumours, or circulate misleading information through social media that could further divide society.
