Nepal, March 17 -- A 24-year-old woman, Krishna Pun of Sunilsmriti Rural Municipality-7, Tewang Bhaisipure, died after being struck by lightning while inside her home.

Police reported that the incident occurred on Monday afternoon during bad weather. Despite remaining safely indoors, she was fatally struck by lightning.
