Krishnabhir repairs near completion, traffic to resume soon
Nepal, Sept. 12 -- Vehicles movement through Prithvi Highway is likely to resume in a few days with the new track opening at KrishnabAccordion of the highway, which sank after the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli floods, has reached its final stage.
Sajana Adhikari, chief of the Nagdhunga-Mugling Road Project, informed that the new track has been opened and the 'grade down' work of the road has reached the final stage. According to her, the water drainage system is being built, which will be followed by the graveling of the road.
Adhikari said the road will be opened for vehicle movement in the next one week. The newly built section is a temporary one opened at the upper segment of the existing road alignment.
