KATHMANDU, Oct. 26 -- Kathmandu Metropolitan City has demolished illegal structures built without approved maps in Thapathali Chowk.

The demolition took place along the route from Ward No. 11 toward Tripureshwor, where dozers were mobilized to remove the encroachments. The operation was carried out in coordination with the Guthi Sansthan.

KMC has been consistently taking action against unauthorized houses and huts constructed within its jurisdiction, continuing its drive to enforce building regulations and reclaim public spaces.
