KATHMANDU, Oct. 18 -- The Kathmandu District Administration Office has prohibited the Deusi-Bhailo programs after 9 PM during the Tihar festival.
Issuing a public notice, Assistant Chief District Officer Mukti Ram Rijal stated that Deusi-Bhailo and other festive activities must be carried out in a disciplined manner without disturbing the public. The administration has urged participants to ensure that their celebrations do not lead to complaints.
The notice also mentioned that Deusi-Bhailo performances should not obstruct public roads or disrupt traffic movement.
Additionally, the administration has banned the sale, distribution, and use of firecrackers and other explosive materials during the festival.
