Nepal, Sept. 8 -- For Nepali workers seeking overseas employment, Israel has opened 1,464 positions for care workers to assist people with severe disabilities of all ages at long-term care centers.

The Department of Foreign Employment issued a notice on Tuesday inviting applications from Nepali workers under a government-to-government (G2G) arrangement with Israel.

Of the total positions, 1,132 are reserved for women and 332 for men. Selected workers will receive a monthly salary of NIS 6,443.85, equivalent to around Rs 323,000.

They will be required to work 42 hours a week, excluding overtime.
