Indian national arrested in Parsa with 16.57 grams of brown sugar
Nepal, Aug. 10 -- Parsa police have arrested a 25-year-old Indian national with 16.57 grams of brown sugar in Birgunj.
The arrested man has been identified as Shatrudhan Paswan, a resident of Motihari, Bihar, India.
A police team from the District Police Office, Parsa, arrested Paswan based on a tip-off about the purchase and sale of brown sugar at Krishnapranami Chowk in Birgunj Metropolitan City-14.
Police said they searched Paswan after finding him walking suspiciously in the area and recovered 16.57 grams of brown sugar from his possession.
Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
