HoR session: 'Govt's performance not as per people's expectation'
Nepal, Oct. 1 -- The leader of the main opposition party, Vishmaraj Angdembey, has said that the six-month stint of the incumbent government has not been fruitful as expected by the general public and it is like 'a continuation of the transition period'.
Taking time from the Speaker in today's meeting of the House of Representatives, leader Angdembey said that although getting nearly two-thirds of the public vote in the election was a special opportunity, things have not worked out accordingly.
He complained that, although the content of Prime Minister Balendra Shah's address to the 81st UN General Assembly was fine, the PM did not inform the parliament about it before and after the visit to the UNGA.
