Nepal, Aug. 7 -- The government has been urged to clarify whether it plans to construct a national-level trauma centre in Dhalkebar of Madhesh Province as previously planned.

At Thursday's meeting of the House of Representatives, Nepali Congress lawmaker Dr Chandra Mohan Yadav raised the issue, urging the government not to abandon the plan to establish the trauma centre in Dhalkebar.

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal directed the government to respond after lawmakers drew the House's attention to the issue of national importance.
